Promoting Your Website
A website can and should be a valuable marketing asset to any business. There are various ways to promote a website and a business owner
should be aware of them all in order to make educated decisions on marketing strategies and advertising budgets. There are two main ways
to promote a website:
- Online Website Promotion
The obvious avenue for promoting a website is online. Common online website proomotion methods include, search engines, banner ads, pay per
click advertising, emailing campaigns, online directories and links from other websites.
- Offline Website Promotion
When promoting a website, many companies do not put much emphasis on offline website promotion. Online advertising is an obvious way
to promote your website but offline website promotion can be just as important. Your website should be used as an extension of traditional
advertising methods, If you have an ad in the local newspaper or on the local TV or radio station, you will have limited time or space
to get your message across. By encouraging people to visit your website, you can expand on your message and further promote products
and services.
